Just in time to elevate your St. Patrick’s Day guest experience, Redbreast Single Pot Irish Whiskey announces the launch of their oldest-ever permanent expression.

Redbreast 27 Years old is available this month in 23 markets in the United States and joins Redbreast 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old, 21 Year Old and Lustau in the brand’s distinguished permanent lineup.

Adding to the complexity of the liquid inside the bottle, a portion of Redbreast 27 Year Old matured in ruby port barrels from Portugal’s Douro Valley.

In addition to boasting a nearly three-decade age statement, the newest expression of Redbreast is evidence of Irish distiller and blender innovation and commitment to producing ultra-premium whiskeys.

Redbreast Master Blender Billy Leighton and Blender Dave McCabe were driven to push the boundaries of Irish whiskey, seeking an expression that would “take its place at the head” of the Redbreast family.

“Redbreast 27 Year Old showcases why and how tradition and innovation continue to be of significance to whiskey aficionados and new whiskey drinkers alike,” says Sona Bajaria, Vice President of Marketing, High End Irish Whiskeys at Pernod Ricard USA. “We know that when consumers land on Redbreast, they fall in love and want to pass it along to friends, family, and those who share a love for premium whiskies. Redbreast is the standard bearer of premium single pot dtill Irish whiskey, and the new 27 Year Old expression celebrates our heritage with an experience worth the journey of nearly three decades.”

While Redbreast 27 Year Old will be produced in limited quantities, production will be ongoing since it’s part of the permanent lineup.
