Celebrate National Margarita Day Right!

Considered to be one of the most popular drinks among ladies, it’s no wonder the Margarita has its own holiday. And what better way to boost sales than by honoring and promoting this delightful drink on National Margarita Day – Feb. 22!

Loved and consumed by millions around the world, today we honor this sacred tequila, triple sec and lime drink. Now, encourage your guests to adjourn to the lounge and order up a few rounds. The Mexican cocktail can add that sweet and salty lift your customers need this weekend.

 

Lavender Margarita

2 ½ ounces Don Julio Silver
1 ounce Parfait Amour
¼ ounce fresh lime juice
¼ ounce simple syrup

Served up or over Ice. Garnish with a lime

Fruta Fresca Margarita

1 ¾ ounces Herradura Blanco Tequila 
½ ounce agave nectar
1 ounce lime juice
4-6 pieces of fresh local fruit

Muddle fruit, agave and lime in a shaking tin. Add tequila and ice. Shake and serve in Margarita glass. Top with the fruit used in the Margarita.

Blood ORange Margarita

1 1/2 parts Tequila Avión
3/4  part Cointreau Orange Liqueur
1 part Blood Orange Juice
1/2  part Fresh Sour Mix             

In a cocktail shaker add all ingredients with ice.  Shake and strain; best served over fresh ice and garnish with an orange twist.
