“The time was right to introduce a new product to the market,” says Allen Key, President and CEO of Hammer Family Distilleries. Although others may have been hesitant to launch a brand new drink in a stagnant economy, Key is adamant that they’ve made the right move. “When you’ve got a quality product that you believe in, and more importantly, that people want, you can’t afford to wait for the so-called perfect timing.”
While Key is still in the process of setting up and expanding distribution, the beverages are available at a few hot spots throughout the country, including Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Louisiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan.

The beverage is targeted toward a younger crowd, primarily 21 to 30-year-old males. And it’s meant to be combined with an energy drink such as Red Bull, Amp, or Monster.

The company is headquartered in Roanoke, VA with production operations in Temperance, MI.

The Grape Liquer and Dulce Suenos flavors are the company’s first product offerings. Find out more at www.drinkthehammer.com.
