Announcing Pete Tongas New Monthly Party At LiFE Nightclub Inside SLS Las Vegas

Life NightclubLiFE Nightclub, Las Vegas’ newest mega-club at SLS Las Vegas, debuts All Gone Pete Tong beginning Sunday, Oct. 5. Pete Tong is known world-wide as a trailblazer for electronic music of all tropes, indeed he was one of the first DJs to host a residency in Las Vegas as the city embraced dance culture several years ago. Tong returns this fall to Sin City, with a new vision, looking to shift the dial of Vegas’ nightlife culture with his new monthly party at LiFE’s exclusive industry night, UNDERGROUND SUNDAYS.

At LiFE,  Tong will steer a different musical course to the rest of the Strip, hosting some of electronic music’s leading underground figures from Eric Prydz’ techno alter-ego Cirez D, house icon Sasha, Detroit pioneer Seth Troxler, recent Puff Daddy subverter Guy Gerber and Ibiza champion Solomun.

“LiFE allows underground dance music to flourish,” said Tong. “It’s five years since Vegas caught the dance bug, the scene has grown and matured, it feels at a point where people are ready for something different. I’m looking to build a community and vibe that’s a little sexier and darker, not quite so polished.”

The theme for All Gone Pete Tong at SLS is ‘Decadent Rebellion’, it’s a nod to Vegas’ extravagance and glitz, but with a slight twist of subversion. Photo mapping will play with LiFE’s surfaces and staff, making everything a little fuzzy around the edges, warming things up and creating a space where decadence can thrive without the polish.

Production and design will be handled by Romain Pissenem from Ibiza’s iconic Ushuaia club, who also art directed Luciano’s notorious Vagabundos campaign. He’ll be creating a bespoke environment at LiFE, tailor-made to explore the edgier reaches of dance music.
