From Hotel Chatter: While Revel Atlantic City is just weeks away from its sold-out Grand Opening weekend (featuring Beyonce) it looks like not everything Revelwill be up and running as initially promised.

When the hotel soft-opened on April 2, only a handful of restaurants and public areas were open. But the rest of the resort was set to be revealed over Memorial Day Weekend. Except according to @NYNightlife, Revel's massive four-level nightclub HQ Nightclub along with the HQ Beach Club is not going to make the MemWeekend party. Instead a July opening is looking more likely.

From BBC Newsbeat, UK, reports that some nightclub security staff now demand access to clubber’s smartphones in order to verify Facebookindividual identities, rather than rely on ID cards.

It is claimed to be a means to ensure underage party-goers are not able to enter the establishments, and as the majority of young people appear to own a social media account, nightclub security is also assuming that access to these accounts through mobile devices is possible.

Charlotte Neal, 20, is one clubber in the UK that as gone through the process several times. Neal said that the process was undertaken in order to match her driving license to her Facebook profile, verifying that identification cards belonged to her.

TAO Beach at The Venetian celebrated the 2012 season with a grand opening celebration on May 5 with DJs QTip and Samantha Ronson and celebrity TAOguests including Stacy Keibler, Krysten Ritter, Jessica Szohr and others. Erick Morillo headlined at TAO Beach for the first time on May 6 for the opening weekend festivities. 

TAO Beach and Maxim, the largest young men’s lifestyle brand in America, have teamed up to present Maxim Fridays for the 2012 pool season. Beginning on May 11 with a party hosted by model Jessica White, Maxim Fridays will feature a rotating schedule of cover model appearances, model searches, and contests to kick off each weekend with the perfect summertime party, and winners of the events may be featured in Maxim or 

TAO Beach Saturdays will feature events, DJs and celebrity hosts, including Sean Paul on May 12, DJ Benny Benassi on May 19 and Gretchen Rossi hosting Bling Beach on June 2, with a $5000 award to the girl with the bikini with the most bling. Sundays will round out the weekend with a high energy electronic dance music party featuring DJs including BT, Cedric Gervais, Cosmic Gate, Dash Berlin, EC Twins, EDX, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, Nickey Romero, Paul Van Dyk, Sander Van Doorn and Zedd.
