Pinstripes brings a truly unique indoor/outdoor dining and entertainment hub to the downtown Chicago area. The 35,000 sq. ft. venue features exceptional Italian-American cuisine and wine; bowling lanes and indoor-outdoor bocce courts; a sprawling outdoor patio and fireplace with views of the river and lake; and banquet spaces that can accommodate up to 300 people for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, and more. Guests can enjoy live music by local Skinny Williams; family play-dates; clubs and leagues; plus exciting wine dinners, beer tastings and activities for all. Pinstripes currently has six other locations: Northbrook, South Barrington and Oak Brook, Ill., Edina, MN, Washington D.C. Metro Area and Kansas City, MS.

“The River East complex is a first-class development well-suited for our sophisticated entertainment venue,” said Dale Schwartz, Pinstripes Founder/CEO. “We look forward to introducing ‘strikingly good food and fun’ to Streeterville and the surrounding neighborhoods.”

When entering Pinstripes on Illinois St., guests will be greeted by the lofty bistro and open kitchen featuring a select 15 seats surrounding the cozy wood-burning oven, only to be found at the Chicago location. Helmed by Chef Cesar Gutierrez, the menu showcases small plate starters, fresh salads including the Apples and Brussels Sprout, homemade pizzas and flatbreads, like the Prosciutto Fig Flatbread, freshly made pastas such as the Gnocchi and Ahi Tuna, organic and free-range meats and produce, hearty entrees, plus homemade soups and seasonal desserts. Diners can also feast on the complete gluten free and kid’s menus in addition to Gutierrez’s monthly Chefs Features.

The beverage menu will excite enthusiasts with the hard-to-find bottles of American and Italian wines, handcrafted classic cocktails with an Italian spin and specialty beers including Solemn Oath’s Butterfly Flash Mob, exclusive to the Chicago Pinstripes location.

Guests can also spend day and night at the bocce courts (5 indoor, 2 outdoor) and 11 bowling lanes including two private lanes. Reservations are recommended for bowling and bocce but walk-ins are accepted as well.
