Dos Equis Announces Dates of "The Most Interesting Show in the World" Nationwide Tour

dos equisNEW YORK, NY (October 8, 2010) – Dos Equis today announced the return of the award-winning* “Most Interesting Show in the World” (MISW), a traveling showcase of unique and eccentric artists, performers and curiosities. Inspired by “The Most Interesting Man in the World” campaign, the upscale variety show, now in its third year, will visit 17 cities across the U.S., starting October 5 in San Francisco and culminating in Minneapolis on November 3.

“We are excited to announce the return of the Most Interesting Show in the World, with the addition of a world-renowned energetic host and a fresh lineup of performers,” said Paul Smailes, brand director for Dos Equis. “This year, we're looking to provide a memorable evening that will engage the audience more than ever before by creating a truly interactive experience between performer and spectator.”

World-renowned rock star Andrew W.K., fresh from headlining the 2010 Warped Tour, will be the host and bring a whole new level of energy to the show. Other performers include Hungarian illusionist Elliott Zimmet, Persian burlesque star Cherie Lily, world record holder the Great Merlini, the visually spectacular Bubble Man, and a dream team of other extreme and interesting acts.

“The Most Interesting Show provides an unparalleled combination of humor, danger and seduction,” said show host Andrew W.K. “With a name like The Most Interesting Show in the World, you have to go all out on the talent, venue and production – and we’ve done that. We lined up dancers like you’ve never seen, performances that will amaze and engage the audience, and, of course, ice cold Dos Equis. It will, without a doubt, live up to its name.”

New York-based Mirrorball is the experiential marketing agency in charge of the development and implementation of the multi-award winning MISW tour. The show is written and produced by Randy Weiner and Weiner Entertainment Group, creator of the Las Vegas show “Beacher’s Madhouse”, New York City’s The Box, and “The Donkey Show,” a variety program that toured New York, London, Madrid and Seoul.
The MISW tour is supported by online media and local in-market promotions. All MISW attendees must be 21 or over.
