The Melting Pot Announces Winner of Top Cocktail Fan-Voting Competition The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc, the world’s premier fondue restaurant and a leading polished casual dining franchise has announced the Sassy Senorita cocktail featuring Avión Silver Tequila as the winner of its recent Top Cocktail Competition, which invited guests to vote for their favorite limited-time cocktail for a chance to win a $250 Melting Pot gift card and other prizes.

“Our unique Top Cocktail beverage program took guest interaction to a new level as it tapped into the popularity of reality TV competitions,” said Paul Brown, beverage manager for Front Burner Brands, restaurant management company for The Melting Pot. “More than 45,000 votes were cast by The Melting Pot guests as they chose their favorite limited-time cocktail to be added to our core beverage menu in 2015.”

The competing drinks in the Top Cocktail program were limited-edition, handcrafted cocktails with personality featuring Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, Hendrick’s Gin, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Stoli Razberi Vodka and Avión Silver Tequila. Guests were encouraged to sample the five cocktails at U.S. Melting Pot locations from April 29 – July 31, 2014 and vote for their favorite online or via text message to be automatically entered for a chance to win one of 10 gift cards from The Melting Pot.

The winning cocktail, the Sassy Señorita, which garnered more than 15,000 votes, earned a place on The Melting Pot’s 2015 core cocktail menu. The Sassy Señorita features Avión Silver Tequila, POM Wonderful pomegranate juice, muddled blueberries and fresh lime juice.
