Beam Global Spirits & Wine Inc. and Laphroaig Single Islay Malt Scotch will launch of Laphroaig 18 Year Old this fall. The 96-proof Scotch is made in limited quantities each year and will replace Laphroaig 15 Year Old this fall. Its 18-year aging process results in a Scotch with a bright gold color and soft, sweet and spicy Islay peat smoke. The Scotch tastes of a tang of smoke that fades into smooth floral scents, blending into an oaky nuttiness.

Absolut Boston

This month, Absolut debuts its third city-inspired flavor, Absolut Boston. The black tea and elderflower vodka offers bartenders and bar patrons an opportunity to shake up the cocktail scene. The bottle design features Boston’s left-field wall and serves as an homage to one of the city’s most iconic monuments and its local sports fanaticism. Absolut will donate $50,000 from sales to the Charles River Conservancy, which is dedicated to the stewardship and renewal of the parklands along the city’s riverbanks.

Gritty McDuff’s Halloween Ale

Maine craft brewer Gritty McDuff’s Brewing Co.’s Halloween Ale is available until Oct. 31. Gritty’s Haloween Ale is deep amber in color and offers a bold, malty palate and well-rounded hop finish. The hops involved in the brew are Whitbread Goldings, East Kent Goldings and B.C. Kent. Halloween Ale is available on tap and in 6- and 12-packs of 12-ounce and 22-ounce bottles and 5 L mini kegs.
