Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations and Axis/Radius rang in the New Year with a flashback to the roaring ‘20s as Axis/Radius was transformed into an Atlantic City Boardwalk Empire on Dec. 31, 2010.

As guests entered the celebration they saw a boardwalk replica backdrop depicting the HBO hit-series “Boardwalk Empire” that takes place in New Jersey during the Prohibition era.

Flapper girlThe event highlighted various aspects from the show featuring casino gaming, cocktail waitresses dressed up as flapper girls, vintage posters decking the walls, and authentic Model T automobiles.

Guests were entertained throughout the evening by local DJ’s with sounds provided by DJ MCB in Axis, the western portion of the venue, and resident DJ J Alan in Radius, the eastern portion of the venue.

Axis/Radius is the hottest there is to offer in Arizona’s desert nightlife. Two powerful clubs joined by a glass catwalk brings the nightlife alive. High-energy music, exotic food and drinks, a first-class cigar bar and The Amber Lounge VIP club make Axis/Radius the ultimate destination for event gatherings.

Axis, with its cozy booths, soft lighting, sleek stainless steel bar and winding staircase gets you in the mood to groove. Flat screens and the majestic blues of the upstairs lounge give guests another option to the pulsating rhythm of downstairs. Taking a break from the grooves, guests nibble on selections from the Axis menu encompassing everything from signature sirloin sliders to coconut shrimp and their signature old fashion hamburger from Chef Dario Mata. They can also create specialized menus for parties or events.

For those seeking a little more excitement, crossover the glass catwalk to Radius and feel the rhythm. A kaleidoscope of light reflects off steel architecture and dazzles your senses. Pumping up the energy, dance to the beat of techno and Top 40 music at Radius.

Radius has hosted some of the biggest names in the dance music industry, including Benny Benassi, Paul van Dyk, Above and Beyond, ATB, Calvin Harris, Sharam, Morgan Page, Dash Berlin, LMFAO, DJ Pauly D, Hypercruch and Nervo.

Guest can then climb the svelte steel stairs to The Amber Lounge, a private VIP club catering to even the most discriminating guests. Boasting a one-of-a-kind floating bar carved from real amber inlaid with insects, twigs, flowers and butterflies, The Amber Lounge is a haven for celebrities, professionals and others seeking an exclusive nightclub atmosphere with personal attention. Let loose on the mahogany dance floor or get comfy on mohair couches and chairs.a
