In an attempt to capitalize on the flavor and value-priced segments of the vodka market, Frïs Vodka introduces three flavors: Frïs Cherry, Frïs Blueberry and Frïs Grape. The vodkas are made using the brand’s patented freeze distillation, continuous six-column process. Packaging complements the Frïs Vodka base brand design, with sophisticated typeface, photorealistic illustrations and color-coded medallions and caps to differentiate flavors. Blackheart Premium Spiced Rum
Blackheart Premium Spiced Rum, named for the “sultry seductress of the high seas,” is now available from Heaven Hill Distilleries. The 93-proof spiced rum will be marketed to appeal to a new generation of rum drinkers through the bottle, label art and marketing. Brand support consists of on- and off-premise point-of-sale materials, the brand’s web site and social media activities using the brand tagline “Seduction in a Bottle.” Blackheart is available nationally in 750 ml and 50 ml sizes.

Kenwood Vineyards Merlots
Kenwood Vineyards introduces its 2007 Sonoma County Merlot and 2007 Reserve Merlot. The Sonoma County Merlot was aged for 22 months in small French and American oak barrels; the reserve aged for 22 months exclusively in French oak barrels. Herbs and a note of spice complement loganberry and blueberry aromas in the Sonoma County Merlot, while the 2007 Reserve Merlot showcases blueberry, cinnamon and clove aromas, accented by a suggestion of smoke.
