Beginning on May 19, 2011, QUA Bottle Lounge introduced the hottest weekly nightclub promotion this city has ever seen with Red Light District Thursdays! Each and every Thursday night thereafter, guests gathered to be tantalized by stunning performances brought on by beautiful ladies of the night! From Amsterdam to Austin, Texas, the Red Light District was resurrected, however, in Austin's Warehouse District. There was no need for glass doors or windows to seperate onlookers as the entertainment provided was carried out with a tasteful acrobatic elegance and just the slightest hint of feminist undertones.

Though the talents of local and award-winning pole-dancing troupe, The Brass Ovaries, gravity-defying routines showcased performances with twists and turns that marveled guests both male and female alike. In addition, this weekly even served as a cross promotion for The Brass Ovaries, as a local business and provided guests in attendance discounted rates for pole-dancing lessons at their local studio. Before the mid-2000s, pole dance mainly took place in strip clubs. Since then, promoters of pole dance fitness competitions have been trying to change people's perceptions of pole dancing and promote it as a legitimate form of dance and acrobatics.
