Rock the Cocktail

With all the campaigning, punditry and debates, the presidential election can leave a bad taste in one's mouth. But having a little fun with the upcoming election may help ease those tensions. No matter the ideology of your patrons, there is definitely one thing everyone can agree on - A good cocktail is hard to resist.

Coming up with your own election-themed cocktails may not have an effect on the outcome of the presidential race, but will have your customers considering you as the best bipartisan establishment around.


On the menu at Cityscape in Chicago

1¼ oz. ABSOLUT Mandarin Vodka
½ oz. Blue Curacao
2 oz. Amp Decibel
Splash of Sierra Mist
Lime wheel, for garnish

Combine in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and pour in Martini glass. Garnish with lime wheel.


Warm Mittens Cocktail
On the menu at Cityscape in Chicago

1¼ oz. Cityscape’s 12 year old Elijah Craig Bourbon
½ oz. Grand Marnier
1 oz. fig preserves
Splash of soda
Orange wheel, for garnish.

Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker; mix well. Pour of ice in rocks glass. Garnish with orange wheel.
