Sacramento Bee: Greenhouse Nightclub Partners With Eco-Friendly Charities to Celebrate Earth Week, Raise Awareness and Give Back

From The Sacramento Bee:

Greenhouse, New York's premier nightlife destination and first eco-friendly nightclub, will continue its contribution to green living during Earth Week, through its "Greenhouse Gives Back" campaign  — a series of events benefiting green charities by giving a portion of an evening's proceeds to select charities.

During Earth Week 2012 from April 16-22, Greenhouse will partner with a different charity each night to host a Greenhouse Gives Back event. This seven day event will benefit Global Green, Cans for a Cure, Prospect Park Alliance, American Cancer Society, Riverkeeper, Green Festival, and Plant a Billion Trees. "As an eco- friendly nightclub it's important that we stick by our motto of living a greener life by supporting Earth Week, Earth Day, Earth Festival, and charities that concentrate on an eco-friendly lifestyle," says Greenhouse co-owner Barry Mullineaux. Greenhouse has also partnered with Green Festival NYC, celebrating its 10th year as the nation's premier sustainability event, as the official host of the After Party to be held on April 21 from 7 to 11 p.m.
