"The change in seasons has prompted us to change our menu," Tony Rasmussen of Canela Bistro Bar said. "We will continue to offer many of the dishes that everyone has come to love, but we will be making some seasonal changes, and we will be adding some delicious, new dishes."
Offering seasonal items and menus ensures that Canela continues to provide customers with the freshest items available from local farmer's markets and local vendors.
"We have been testing dishes in the kitchen, and we have a wonderful halibut dish with fresh, seasonal vegetables and a very nutty sauce, and we have finally added the long-awaited Paella to our menu," Rasmussen said. "Made with fresh vegetables and chicken, this dish is authentic and full of flavor."
In conjunction with the release of the new menu, Canela Bistro Bar is also unveiling a new wine list on June 15. The tapas bar has selected wines from both Spain and the U.S. that pair well with many of its tapas, entrées and other signature dishes that its customers already know and love. It has been said that Canela Bistro Bar has a unique wine list filled with quality wines, and with changes in some vintages and additions, Canela has certainly improved its wine offerings.
