Laphroaig 18 Year Old

Beam Global Spirits & Wine Inc. and Laphroaig Single Islay Malt Scotch launches Laphroaig 18 Year Old this fall. The 96-proof Scotch is made in limited quantities each year and replaces Laphroaig 15 Year Old. Its 18-year aging process results in a Scotch with a bright gold color and soft, sweet and spicy Islay peat smoke. The Scotch delivers a tang of smoke that fades into smooth floral scents, blending into an oaky nuttiness.

Absolut Boston

Absolut debuted its third city-inspired flavor, Absolut Boston, a black tea and elderflower vodka. The bottle design features the left-field wall of Boston’s Fenway Park and serves as an homage to one of the city’s most iconic monuments and its sports fanaticism. Absolut will donate $50,000 from sales to the Charles River Conservancy, which is dedicated to the renewal of the parklands along Boston’s riverbanks.

Golden Anniversary Parker’s Heritage Collection

The 2009 “Golden Anniversary” edition of Parker’s Heritage Collection celebrates Parker Beam’s 50 years as a distiller. The annual series of rare, aged American Whiskeys marries bourbons from each of Beam’s five decades of craftsmanship. The 100-proof Golden Anniversary edition will be offered nationally in a 750 ml bottle. Aged in open-rick warehouses, the bourbons used to make this edition were personally selected by Beam.

Pumpkin Spice and Gingerbread are the latest flavors to join the Hiram Walker line of liqueurs. Hiram Walker Gingerbread won the Bronze Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition this year, and its blend of brown sugar, ginger, vanilla and spice mixes well with a wide range of spirits. Boca Loca Caipirinha Mix

Boca Loca Cachaça Co. introduces its Caipirinha Mix, the first branded Caipirinha mix. The product, developed in conjunction with mix company Freshies, is made from 100 percent all-natural juice and contains four times more fresh lime juice than other mixes, according to the company. To use, combine two parts of the mix with one part Boca Loca Cachaça over ice in a shaker; shake for five seconds and strain into an ice-filled cocktail glass.
