2009 Valley of the Moon Pinot Blanc

Made with grapes from the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Valley, the 2009 Valley of the Moon Pinot Blanc was aged five months in French oak and French acacia barrels. The wine has red apple, nectarine and lemon aromas with hints of vanilla. Flavors of nectarine, peach, lemon and lychee contribute to the medium-bodied wine, giving it a crisp and lingering finish. The Pinot Blanc pairs well with seafood, shellfish, salad, fresh fruit and pasta in cream sauces. The 2009 Valley of the Moon Pinot Blanc is available nationally.
