There haven’t been many major announcements coming out of Atlantic City, N.J., these days and new venue openings for 2010 are few and far between, making the launch of One Atlantic that much more unique. Located above the Pier Shops at Caesars Palace in Atlantic City, One Atlantic possesses a 12,000-square-foot footprint including a 2,000-square-foot terrace that extends out, 80 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and famous boardwalk.
It’s being billed as New Jersey’s only over-water, non-casino event space offering panoramic views of beachline and sweeping ocean and will serve as an independent special event space for corporate galas, weddings and other social events with a full-service planning and production arm serving alongside an experienced culinary and catering division led by partner Jon Weinrott, founder of the renowned Philadelphia-based catering company Peachtree & Ward.
One unique experience One Atlantic is opening with is the ‘100-mile menu,’ which promotes local fare promising that all the ingredients come from within a 100-mile radius of the space. The menu will be complemented by signature elements like flavored sea salts for cocktails and sea-salted chocolates while reinforcing One Atlantic’s stunning seaside setup.
