WSWA Announces Winners of Wine, Spirits and Mixology Competitions Held at the WSWA 68th Annual Convention & Exposition

Orlando, Fla.—The Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) announced the winners of the Wine & Spirits Competition, “Call for Cocktails”: Mixology Competition and the Wholesaler “Iron Mixologist” Competition held at the WSWA 68th Annual Convention & Exposition in Orlando.

All competitions were sponsored by The Tasting Panel magazine. The complete list of all competition entrants can be found on the convention blog:

New this year, the Wholesaler “Iron Mixologist” Competition challenged six mixologists from WSWA member companies to create cocktails with a secret ingredient announced at the start of the competition. Mixologists worked from the same ingredients and brands from their respective portfolios. Caterina Miltenberger stole the show as she won two of the three categories in addition to best of show. Miltenberger is the Corporate Mixologist for Glazer’s Distributors in Dallas.

The second annual “Call for Cocktails”: Mixology Competition proved to be another exciting attraction as judges narrowed down the pool of 16 entrants to three.
