Shipyard Brewing Company Takes Home Two From The Australian International Beer Awards

Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) is the showcase awards event in the Asia Pacific Region and, this year, 1,344 entries were received from 258 breweries across 41 countries.  During the 2012 AIBA competition in Melbourne, Australia, Shipyard Brewing Company walked away with two prestigious awards.

Shipyard Brewing Company’s XXXX IPA was awarded a Silver for Imperial/Double IPA Packaged and Smashed Pumpkin took home a Bronze for Herb and Spice Packaged.  Both these beers are part of Shipyard’s award-winning Pugsley’s Signature Series, which is named after Shipyard’s master brewer, Alan Pugsley.
