BRISTOL, PA, January 6, 2011 – AMI Entertainment Network, Inc. have created a cutting-edge, interactive program for effective training and development of hospitality industry staff at every level, from general managers to servers, it was announced today.

The program, called the eLearning Academy, will enhance hospitality worker training and education, said David Borlo, AMI Entertainment Network vice president of Strategic Initiatives. He said the program would help alleviate executives’ worries about effective employee training, which industry surveys show is their number one concern.

The AMI e-Learning Academy will launch on January 25, 2011 at the Cheers Beverage Conference, a portable gaming tablet developed by AMI.

The program offers bars and restaurants across the country access to a valuable hospitality training curriculum in a cost-effective, efficient, engaging, and interactive manner.

More than 400 classes and training videos are available featuring the ShowTenders Cocktail College, OSHA Safety Information, Food Safety, Customer Service and Retention, Food Handling, and other vital courses to achieve high performance in the bar and restaurant industry.

“Creating affordable, results-oriented products for the multi-unit restaurant and bar market is the hallmark of AMI,” said Borlo. “We are very excited to be launching such a great training product with an industry leading partner such as eLogic.”

One of the exciting services that eLogic Learning Solutions provides is unique, interactive courses that can be created from client’s existing material, such as professional SCORM compliant courses developed from existing Power Point programs, PDF files, manuals, and instructor led training programs, all delivered and managed within the eLogic Learning Management System.

In addition to custom content development services, the e-Learning Academy offers training and development strategy, certification management and other valuable educational services.
