Raise a glass because it’s National Cocktail Day! Unless it’s preceded by “Don’t Have a” or something similar, we are great supporters of any holiday called Cocktail Day. Now, this is not to be confused with World Cocktail Day. That amazing holiday is coming in May, so stay tuned...

Today, promote your classic cocktails and consider making them all with spirits produced in the good ol’ US of A. Making a Negroni? Make it with bourbon. Cocktail build call for whiskey? Again, make with bourbon, our only truly American spirit. Does the cocktail you’re creating use gin? There are American gins worth trying, such as citrusy Karner Blue Distilled Gin made from apples, “big” Waterloo Gin, or the London dry-style Bluecoat American Dry Gin. Of course, we all know that if a recipe calls for vodka, Tito’s Handmade is a fantastic option.
