Oktoberfest Promos We Love

The much-anticipated Oktoberfest is a national holiday to bar owners. Customers anticipate the holiday and all the beer drinking that goes with it, while bar owners enjoy the crowds that come to their establishments for this raucous beer-drinking day. Oktoberfest isn’t for everyone, but just a flavor of it will change the way your establishment enters into fall.


Chicagoans can enjoy Oktoberfest at Brasserie by LM with Traditional Weisswurst served with sweet mustard for $15 from Sept. 22 to Oct. 7. Brasserie also will feature international beers including German’s Franziskaner Weissbier on draft.

Cityscape Bar is celebrating Oktoberfest with three 3-ounce beers for $8 with options including Guinness Stout, Leinenkugel Seasonal, Chi Town Windy City Wheat, Samuel Adams Seasonal, Blue Moon Pale Ale or Fat Tire Amber Ale.

Zum Schneider, a Bavarian indoor biergarten in New York, will be holding its Oktoberfest during Sept. 21 and Oct. 14. The event will feature live music with Mosl Frazi and the JaJaJa’s, DJ Volka Racho playing German classics and party music, as well as broiled chicken and pretzels and Oktoberfest beers imported from Bavaria.



Also in the Windy City, The Pony is hosting its Robbie and Riemer’s Annual Oktoberfestpalooza this Sunday. The party features a yodeling contest, polka dance-off, Lederhosen and polka musical chairs. Specials include $7 Oktoberfest flights with Spaten Oktoberfest, Sam Adams Oktoberfest and Leinenkugel Oktoberfest, along with $8 32-ounce Steins filled with guests’ choice of beer.

Memphis Taproom in Philadelphia is hosting its 3rd annual Thirstoberfest, celebrating the end of the establishment’s beer garden on October 27 from noon to  6p.m. More than 25 flagship and limited-release beers from favorite local and stateside craft breweries along with rare international brews will be featured.


Meehan’s Public House in Atlantic Station will host an Oktoberfest celebration October 13. The party features live music from Slippery When Wet, a Bon Jovi cover band, as well as German beer and food, pub games and more.

Starting Friday, Sept. 14 and continuing the entire month of October every Friday and Saturday, the Dakota Inn Rathskeller in Detroit is the premier spot for Oktobefest. The party takes place in the venue’s main hall with the ceremonial keg tapping.

Brickell Irish Pub in Miami is kicking off Oktoberfest with a daylong party on October 5th and 6th for $55 in advance and $65 at the door. Guests will enjoy live music, soft pretzel, hot sausages and five-hour open beer bar package.
