Chef Kayla Robison, known professionally as Commander N’ Beef, is a 2x Food Network Champion, chef, entrepreneur, and hospitality consultant with over 20 years in the bar and restaurant industry. Having worked every position in the kitchen and dining room, Kayla built her career from the ground up and brings practical, real world perspectives.
She is a 10 year featured culinary demonstrator and speaker at the Bar & Restaurant Expo, where she shares insights on hospitality leadership, culinary innovation, and building sustainable restaurant culture. Her industry experience includes serving as Executive Chef of Nation Kitchen & Bar and leading menu development at the historic Arnold’s Bar & Grill, where her work contributed to national recognition, best burger awards, and earned her a place on Cincinnati’s Top 10 Best Chefs list.
Kayla has appeared on Chopped, Guy’s Grocery Games, Man vs. Food, and The Today Show, and today travels the country consulting for restaurants, hosting culinary events, and producing food driven content as Commander N’ Beef. She is also the creator of Commander 'N Beef smashburger concept and provides Michelin focused private dining and catering experiences alongside fellow Food Network Champion, Christian Gill.
