Bio:
Nicole Herman is the founder and principal designer of Social Design Studio, a hospitality focused interior design firm creating narrative driven environments rooted in place, brand, and guest experience. She is also the CEO + Creative Director of Social Design Supply Co., a curated e-commerce furnishings resource built to support restaurant owners with designer-level sourcing.
Nicole’s work is shaped by an appreciation for open space, authenticity, and human connection. She approaches each project as a balance of storytelling, materiality, and operational discipline—translating brand identity into physical space while maintaining focus on budget, durability, and execution.
Through Social Design Studio, Nicole collaborates with restaurateurs, developers, and operators to deliver distinctive interiors that are elevated yet approachable. Through Supply Co., she extends that vision by making thoughtfully curated, commercial grade furnishings more accessible to boutique restaurateurs.
